i thought scintilli was their best album (as plaid of course) except maybe mbuki mvuki.

so are they hitting a new high in their career? Not sure but I'll probably give this a spin - Plaid are great after-dinner IDM if that makes any sense.

That's funny, I'm the opposite. I thought scintilli was their worst work =(. Edit: Just listened to the whole album again and actually there are lots of great tracks here and it really works as an album. I retract my previous hate lol

The "after dinner" comment makes sense. It's not too heavy listening. Goes well with a nice bottle of wine and maybe a smoke.

Just noticed it's only one 12". So it will only be 40ish minutes.

This new track is their most beautiful work since the P-Brane EP. Really impressed and will be getting it!

I'm on number 12 I think and almost had my fill of this track for the time being. It bodes very well for the rest of the album. Plaid rarely disappoint.

I haven't followed their work in years but I'll definitely pick this up based on this track. i used to be well into them. I love their additive approach whereby they build little bits into these huge lush chords.

Liverpool Street track is on there - look forward to hearing the studio version of that.

I have to be careful not to play this track out before album-release. It's one of those tracks I could just listen to on repeat.
