I haven't seen that since I was 14 but this movie is probably even worse. This is a bad bad bad 90s sci-fi with terrible casting and everything really.

I've never seen Virus, but according to IMDB and RT, Virus is definitely worse than this film, which means now I really wanna see that as well of course.
