Got the cd today and everything looks good :) Burned with no problems,

Got mine today as well, and in perfect shape too! Whew, this thread had me quite worried for a while.

Also, i successfully burned my files, but i'm not sure if i did it right. The CD acts like some sort of USB for some reason.

Why is it not letting me play it through WMP? I don't have a CD player laying around so i can't confirm if i did it wrong or not.

Did you burn it as an audio CD?

I didn't get any options, however, i had some space left, so i took the MP3 files instead. After that, it gave me the option to play them through Windows MP, etc.

OK, I think you might have messed it up and burned it as a CDROM. That means it won't work in a regular CD player.

Yeah, probably...

I decoded the flacs with foobar and burned the wavs as audio cd compilation

You can always order another one and get it by christmas

Before it arrives, I want to ask about burning. Which software should I use to make it play in all CD players and should I burn FLACs or MP3s?

flac is lossless best quality as cd

mp3 is lossly quality is compressed lool

better u do with flac & use dBpoweramb, never problem with it & good software
