It's quite nice to see a music video not in slowmotion these days... Well there's a bit of it inside actually but it's not thrown up on us all the way to hide a lack of creativity.

The last part is insane.

I said the same thing, it was so loud and harsh I couldn't listen to it.

i only got the never catch me track cause i preordered but it doesn't sound 2 loud or earhurting to me

I think it was the kendrick lamar one, the one that bothered my ears.

guys i heard lots of new music is mastered way loud. what can i do if it's too loud? what's this "volume" setting on all my audio equipment for?

it's not just the volume. it causes the actual sound of the music to be fucked up as well. but hey, i guess that's how he wanted it maybe

Decent article / interview. Had no idea he interned at stones throw. Just reading that account of Thundercat popping over - only to then jet - felt awkward. I get the whole substance addiction/abuse thing but beyond that everything else seems like good ol' FWP Steve. That's a shame...

I'm still looking forward to the album personally. Can't wait to light up a nice one and chill to this. I just hope it's not all mastered like that lamar track. Actually, maybe you can tell me... is it all that brickwalled?

I'll listen anyway so I guess it's a moot point lol. As long as all the tracks don't hurt my ears like that one I'll probably find a few tracks I really like.
