he isn't releasing this as Aphex Twin, and technically, there still was no official confirmation that this is apex

if he didnt want this to be official, it's pretty logical that warp wouldnt scream about it on every corner

then there's parking lot, make a baby <3, alt. versions of 4.. grirl/boy.. carn marth.. a fucking sutdio-quality copy of Gabbro Rod Fix??? if it takes a year to digest a new autechre album i'll be spending the rest of my fucking life getting into the stuff we're being given here.

those are ones he renamed while uploading, like the mp3 file for moow is "dixons theft -mooow" and ep string is "bell bass". glockenspiel TEAC does seem to be the odd one out, though. anyway i'm way too nitpicky about this shit.

I think maybe for my own tagging purposes and sanity, I'm gonna consider the track names as they appear on SC canon. I'm kind of all over the place with how I tag Aphex tracks. For ICBYD, I typed them exactly as he wrote them on the back cover, but I didn't do the same for RDJ Album. Why? Fuck knows. One thing is clear: I need more hobbies.

Then again I'm not on the inside so this is all speculation. Is Warp really the big bad record label in this situation?

i imagine warp aren't promoting the soundcloud page because they don't need too, as the warp guy said "he achieves so much by doing so little" plus having warp promote it is a bit like having your parents drop you and pick you up from a party
