Dems need to accept that they have not done anything to appeal to the average working american. we can call the trumpies stupid all day and maybe the maga lot are indeed a lot of the time. that said...why not offer something materially different? not just platitudes of hope wrapped around mckinsey raytheon bs. however...there is the whole basis of u.s ideological culture...i.e. 'freedom' and 'individualism' which essentially just isnt true...just a myth for most people. the cynicism of the 'true' left wing of the party is justified...they make a concerted effort to mobilise communities and just get ruined by both reps and mainstream dems...anything but 'socialism' or even a diet lite version of.

because the government officials are not providing any information about the drones, it has become fodder for conspiracy and guesses about what is going on. One person on a NJ Mystery Drone social media group for instance said that maybe they are being used to scan the areas for anything emitting a radiologic signature, implying that there are credible threats of a dirty bomb and that the drones be looking for such. Maybe just a psyop to distract from mideast and ukraine escalations? Some kind of 'large planned event'? That Wall Street Journal article I posted says that they were flying over Langley AFB for 17 consecutive days. Apparently a lot of them seen near Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey? Who knows to be honest. Seems kind of strange nevertheless. The officials are 'monitoring the situation', so maybe we will know soon.

I will say this drone stuff is fascinatingly weird to me. I’ve noticed the story but in the past few days have looked it up a bit. It’s easy to go down the conspiratorial weirdo rabbit hole but I’m sure the answer isn’t as exciting as the possibilities suggest. It’s very weird that there’s as of yet no source or explanations.

i guarantee that someone in the gov/military knows exactly what’s going on but they’re not distributing the information at the moment for some reason or another.

We should never trust whatever the USA government says.

I’ve seen similar drones recently in Minneapolis, as have others. there’s an air force base here, so could be connected to the military theory.
