love this release. i feel kind of alone in preferring the newer aphex stuff (lately). really love the crisp accurate recording and i enjoy when he plays with effects through a track. im adhd. could be the reason

Loving the new version of Xmas eve.. very Tuss like. Also the 1st track sounds loads nicer than the Japanese bonus track I aquired.

Still not sure about the fast mix yet but think it may grow on me when I get used to it, but all in all a very nice little ep!

4:10 on in the fast version is so damn fun.

Liking the crudeness of the new evet, but missing some brand new syro track, even one only half cooked... quite sure Rich has some one in this vein unreleased. The fast marchromta doesn´t gel me nice after getting used the the slow version. Kind of a bag of mixed feelings, I know Ricardo has delivered soooo much lastly! <3

Yes, that's what I thought. Different feel in a good way. Seems more intimate between you and the track, if you know what I mean.

All the other lyrics are really hard to work out, but in the fast version (if you slow it down), you can hear the above quite clearly in the second half of the track (it's the last lyric before it repeats)

Finally got my bent copy from Bleep today. Sounds amazing~! The xmas edit sounds way better on speakers than on headphones, my jaw dropped when i heard that HAT

Skipped once but that might have been a chain reaction caused by way too much bass

Got mine from Blerp today. Not as late as I was expecting, actually.

I've been digging the MP3s but still cant get into the fast version. Not clicking with me. Sounds too busy.

First impressions: Japan track fast is my favorite track on this record, its a nice dip into more driving rhythms. Xmas eve is a wonderful variation, quite distinct from the original, different 'coloring' but completely recognizable. Japan track has always been great, very 'aphex' with the blurry lyrics, solid beats and melancholy tone.

stylistically the white label in the white sleeve makes a very attractive and unassuming package, the stamped logo tells you all you need to know. A nice counterpoint to ccai pt2 with the black/dark grey color scheme and microscopic text printed in the corner.

Where did you buy it from?

The last few that were f'ed up I emailed bleep and said hey wth I didn't pay for a broken one and strangely enough, instead of them saying to f myself they sent me a new one.

And not just the sleeve. They sent me a whole new vinyl and sleeve.

This happened with Plaid's "Reachy Prints" and BoC's "Tomorrow's Harvest" lol.

I think technically the damage is my problem but Bleep kept replacing them =S
