thread made me remember it's been 17 years since i first encountered ae: lp5, 777 brilliantly shooting question marks in between headphones in an otherwise boring record store. (i had skipped the 1st track bc of seemingly 'random' intro, noob that i was lol) how strange that the same feeling comes up today when i put on my headphones listening to new stuff, again thinking (positively electrified ) "WTF is going on here this is great!"

not much in life one cherishes this long... so --

Well, I'm out of time, but:

I was two months away from home: no internet or any other communication system. I knew nothing of all this. A friend took the files for me. It 'was the only real good surprise of the last - dramatically difficult - four years.
Say "thank you" seems an understatement.
The problem is that for a month now, I can't listen to anything else.
Constantly.
Relentlessly.
I am a prisoner, now.
The fact that they are published in chronological order the first four live, makes me tragically hope that this is the start of an operation designed to bring us all the live of the last two years, consecrating to the story each step of their evolution.
I would stay trapped in that "flesh ripping sonic torment" for the rest of my days.
