I love Radiohead but I can understand why someone would find Yorke's vocals extremely annoying. I hated them too when I first started listening to them

I was just trolling, I've never heard any of their tunes, that I can think of. I've heard Thom cameo in other peoples work but never radiohead itself.

But can't we have a little fun every now and then?

i dunno, it was fun shitting on oasis though was it not?

I thought so. I consider this payback for them getting too much hype in the late '90s.

Admittedly I listen to Radiohead more for the instrumentals than the vocals, with the exception of songs like Creep and Karma Police. Pyramid Song tho seems to have a perfect balance of both. Amnesiac is my favourite RH album without a doubt.

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

I do that with pretty much all music that has vocals. I generally don't care what artists have to say, I don't listen to music for commentary on society/politics/etc, if that makes any sense. Maybe that's ignorant or something I don't know..I think that's what initially drew me to electronic music as a kid even. Didn't really care what celebrities had to say.

i can understand why they're valid and above average, but i also don't find them interesting, it's boring.

good vocals are about timbre of voice and rhythmic execution to me, i don't listen to lyrics, don't hear them in a song, the voice is just another instrument and is assessed by those same criteria.

If Radiohead has a universally likable song, There There could be it. If I knew nothing about another person's musical tastes, I'd probably show them that one too. Good call.

wow, i learned a lot in this thread. for example. Oasis made more than that one song us americans heard in the 90s. what's it called? "Wonder Hut" or something? oasis guy is funny kind of twat.
