You don’t have to be smart to order a witty chatbot to distinguish yourself from the opposition. I think that’s the only brain fart he added. There is an interview where he proudly explains what kind of cooling system they used etc but he is constantly searching for words while an engineer completes the missing story bits in the background

i wouldnt dismiss it so quick, this is one of those things that can be verified after the fact and iterated on then verified through more formal methods.  heuristic design like this has its place, and goes a long way back. take this example:

If A.I. does make Jurassic Park a reality, they should make the park just like the first movie minus Dennis. Maybe throw in some Terminator robots as security incase Dinosaurs escape.
