i've been going down the deep vortex that is chicago drill as (perhaps) exemplified in my poor choice of words here for a minute, and i have to say it's the most insane thing i've read about recently. kids playing call of duty around their neighborhood but for real (and even more recently), making music which is basically confessions of their crimes (mainly murders or attempts of) or discussions of either of those two topics on twitter or instagram 

p.s. anyone notice which sets were left out from the links?

since i went down this rabbit hole, 4 people have died (1 shot last week, 3 beginning this week) and today, 3 peeps shot and left in critical condition today. and those are only the murders i know of that are results of o'block & tookaville. 

i feel like i'm witnessing the episode blink of an eye in real life. one guy, who is himself a gang member said he was concerned after seeing the next generation posing with guns as they prepare to take position for their turn in the conflict. 

since i posted my last reply, another person was shot and killed.
