why in amsterdam does every middle class rainbow flag hanging liberal have a tesla?

i mean CONSISTENCY LIBTARDS! please

My household has had 5 EVs since 2017 (2 currently), none of them Teslas.

Sure, in 2015, 2016 there were few options for good EVs except the Model S and X, but now there are tons of options in almost every vehicle category, nearly all of which are better than Tesla in pretty much every way except for the fast-charging network (which will soon be open to everyone).

At this point in time, anyone who gets a Tesla that is not a disciple of Elon is either severely ignorant, a sheep, or still thinks it serves as some sort of a status symbol.

US is so far up in its own ass so I truly believe that Elon Musk gonna be a candidate for the president role.

You do realize he can’t run for that office, right?

douchebag banks lose money and can't sell off the debt, and elon looks dumb. indeed, delicious. lol.. fuck the banks.. fuck elon.

A professor of finance at the University of Chicago goes as far as to say that Twitter is the biggest hung deal by dollar amount of all time. "The loans have weighed on the banks for much longer than other hung deals we’ve seen," Steven Kaplan told the WSJ.

Usually, telling advertisers to "go fuck themselves" isn't a winning strategy if you're running a social media site that depends on ad revenue.

And X-formerly-Twitter owner Elon Musk is learning this the hard way.

Or if he isn't already, he's about to. Because, as he's suing those advertisers for not buying ads on Twitter — which is exactly what he told them to do — the company is entering some of its worst financial straits yet: in the second quarter, it only made $114 million in revenue in the US, according to internal figures obtained by The New York Times — a 53 percent drop from the same quarter last year.

Now, as Fortune reports, this is so dire that even longtime Tesla investors predict that Musk might have to sell some of his own shares in the automaker to prop up his failing website.

"I would be expecting something between $1 and $2 billion in stock," said Bradford Ferguson, president and chief investment officer of asset manager Halter Ferguson Financial in a YouTube comment on Wednesday, as quoted by Fortune, noting that this could cause the stock to lose between five to ten percent of its value.

now he's likely going to have to sell some tesla stock to dump money into shitter.

These things are always a gamble, and if one has billions of dollars, one can gamble on Musk (he depends on this for his livelihood).

Hopefully this has butthurt enough rich people that Musk will be left in the cold the next time he has to go around holding the donation bin for some dumbass idea.

why do we only have to copy who he's supporting for presidency? shouldn't we all first invent electric cars, teach ourselves rocket engineering and neuroscience and revolutionize travel too?

A federal judge ordered Tuesday that a list of investors who helped fund Musk’s $44 billion takeover of X, formerly Twitter, in October 2022 be unsealPlatform X (formerly Twitter) was forced by an American court to disclose its investors as part of a lawsuit filed by former employees. The list of investors who enabled Elon Musk to take over the platform includes a fund associated with Putin's oligarchs.ed. Buried among the lengthy list of nearly 100 investors are several particularly troubling figures.

...one particular fund drew significant attention: it involves the sons of Russian oligarchs closely associated with Vladimir Putin.

Specifically, this is about the 8VC Opportunities Fund II. On the fund's website, Denis Aven and Jack Moszkowicz are listed in the staff section. They are the sons of oligarchs Petr Aven and Vadim Moszkowicz. Petr Aven, a Russian billionaire and founder of Alfa Group, is described as "one of Putin's main portfolios." He is subject to sanctions imposed on Russia due to the war in Ukraine.

Vadim Moszkowicz made his fortune in the agricultural industry and is part of Putin's inner circle, which is why he has also been subjected to Western sanctions

SAO PAULO — A Brazilian Supreme Court justice on Friday ordered the suspension of Elon Musk's social media giant X in Brazil after the tech billionaire refused to name a legal representative in the country, according to a copy of the decision seen by The Associated Press.

Justice Alexandre de Moraes had warned Musk on Wednesday night that X could be blocked in Brazil if he failed to comply with his order to name a representative, and established a 24-hour deadline. The company hasn't had a representative in the country since earlier this month. De Moraes said the platform would remain blocked until it complies.
