The image of a bloated ketamine snorting gaming oligarch billionaire who complains about his trans daughter being part of the woke mind virus is pretty funny. Guy could've had it all but is seemingly bound to the attention of bootlickers and yes men. Almost like an egocentric hate driven mind virus is isolating him from the good things in life, spiralling into horse tranquilizers and mindless videogames as a coping mechanism. I too spent a good time of last year mindlessly grinding in what is a pretty barebones Diablo game but I'm also clinically depressed and listen to my psychologist so now I'm back in the studio rather than climbing some numbered ladder with serotonin graphics on top.. 

Yeah if you can afford an endless amount of coping you are worth off than people that have to take care. An ex of mine had a lot of money and spent it all on massages instead of healing her trauma she got from her parents passing away. It’s sad to see but you can’t help those people as they don’t want help that requires actual effort on their side

I'm not saying he's not fucking incredibly rich but I guess this number comes with a lot of assumptions like how much Twitter/X is still worth. It's the same with all these billionaires that their net worth is kind of a blurry concept because it's all in different company stocks and other assets, some of them not publicly traded, so their values are estimates of how much money someone might pay for them if they went up for sale. And some of Musk's assets are collateral for his loans so he can't even sell them if he wanted to.

Also, for example, Tesla more than doubled it's share price this year so things like that explain how the net worth went sharply up. It's not like he had 200 billion of income, just that the assets are valued higher. Tesla's profit is something in the order of 15 billion per year and SpaceX is in the order of 3 billion and X is at loss to my knowledge. They're not generating hundreds of billions of direct profit in dividends for the shareholders.

I saw one of those cyber trucks where I live for the first time maybe a month ago, with maybe 4 more sightings since.  Looks pretty weird.  Would hate to park that thing downtown, or any busy parking lot.  Curious how impervious to scratches it is.

Fuck scratches. Have you seen how bad fingerprints mark up those things? If you look closely around the doors of just about every ct they look like every driver and passenger is an oversized toddler that eats mayonnaise barehanded before entering/exiting.

Porsche/VW/Audio are one company.. or controlled by one company. when VW did the dirt and lied about their emissions on the "clean diesel" vehicles and wrote that software hack to trick emissions devices and got caught.. they paid billions in fines.. as a result of that Porsche had to end development of a part of their prototype racing program.
