so forgive my amateur status, I just had a daughter today and I’m a bit out of the loop. Does the set list they posted give some sort of road map to recreate stuff?

Yeah it’s basically the plot of the 1997 movie “Contact”

Autechre (the aliens) have provided us the schematics (setlist) and tools (gear) to recreate the 2008 Quaristice live sets (music equivalent of Jodie Foster meeting her dead dad on a abstract tropical beach)

the MPC folder has a bunch of samples in it. pretty cool. sounds like some of the sounds are from quaristice era but who knows.  lot's of raw sounds.. the stretchy sounds labeled like "shstr_15" all sounds like quaristice stuff to me.. shrug. 

pretty cool of them to share all this. sadly i've no nord G2 anymore or MnM or MD to muck around with all this. on reddit someone said the virtual G2 software will play a lot of the patches.  as puzzle pieces it's a nice look into the live sets and how they operated w/this set up. 

the only thing missing is that bitstream controller.

Yeah there's loads of lil bits of Quaristice scattered throughout the '08 LA set if you listen closely. 

When it was just the MNM and MD files leaked, that's what occurred to me would be missing even if someone did manage to recreate the set. Also I assumed that's what they were triggering with the mpc.

Was thinking "but where are the samples?" all day without bothering to check in the MPC folder. I erroneously looked at the size and thought "nah."
