People be dumb the world over. Not going to particularly blame 'muricans, because if you think this is somehow the worst then spend a few moments looking into politics outside Europe and North America where most of the humanity lives.

Anyway, the fucked up education system combined with evangelical Christianity and distain for rational thinking isn't really a winning combination when it comes to tackling the ol' stupidity. Maybe US did a service to Europeans by taking in all those religious nutjobs centuries ago..

Nobody is arguing that America is the worst (even though it is), however most of the world is unfortunately made aware of what America is upto at any given moment and right now the story is that most of the people there have looked at Donald Trump, somebody who is exemplary of pretty much all the worst aspects of humanity and said "Yeah, that's my guy". It's upsetting.
