The line at mustafas was worth it in 2015. Didn’t try it in 2017 but a true döner or gemüse kebab is made with layers of meat or veggies on the skewer. Pressed slime meat was invented to sell the appearance of a kebab without skilled labor.

also, while Berlin has the best kebab in the world, Mexico City has al pastor which is super super similar. Mainly different in the condiments/toppings

I think the US has decent pizza. Has little to do with pizza in Italy and probably shouldn't even be called that but it's tasty. Hella expensive though

Probably mayonnaise and ketchup. 

It's Iskender kebap. They just served it so that the pita bread pieces are under the meat. It's the best döner style, imnsfho.

Here's Iskender kebap I had while visiting Istanbul.
