Really worried this is all VERY WRONG for UK. Major second wave worries. NHS is still in recovery...think we've lifted lockdown FAR too early. Will be carnage tomorrow night with pubs opening.

There are great horror movies like Shining and Hitchcock's stuff and I guess some of Lars von Trier's movies count as horror. It's not all b-move schlock. 

Anyway, I think earlier itt I said that when the pandemic hit my area and places started to close down the feeling was something like from a Murakami or DeLillo novel. White Noise comes to mind at least.

i apparently had a small out of body experience yesterday and found myself yelling at a smug mask-less 225+lb trucker looking dude in the grocery store (masks are legally required in public here). it was a friendly "pull your fucking mask up, jackass" but in retrospect i'm glad i didn't get beat down in the frozen pizza aisle.
