I wish the VCV developpers were more akin to venture into Serge and Buchla territories.

mc505 was my first synth, circa 98

Found a box of old photos, and there was a shot of one of my very first setups, back in the late 90s.  This would have to be the second version, since I got that 424MKII after the MKI started having issues (ironically the MKII died in a few years, but the MKI fixed itself and I still own and use it to this day).

It's in my old middle school/high school bedroom so I remember the space, but I have no memory at all of setting it up this way or what my workflow was like.

That's the Korg Poly61m I always whine about selling for $80, in the lower right corner.

Also wish I still had that painting in the upper left.  I quit art altogether in my early 20s and told my parents to get rid of all the stuff I stored in their basement, and unfortunately they actually did it.

This looks like a numbers station. I wish I had any photos from that era when I first started to make music. It would probably be a picture of an upright piano or a regular computer though. Exciting!

I didn't own a computer yet so this must have been '97 or '98.

I noticed that today and was like, “I’m just gonna pull down the curtain” and so I did. It’s just an absorbent I placed in the window. 
 

The Mac Studio is a fucking beast! I can export an 11 minute episode of a cartoon show ( around 300-400 tracks) in 2 minutes. None of the tracks are frozen or anything. 

I found this while I was collecting reference photos for building some replica 1960s AR speaker stands, and I really needed to share.  It's in Florida, in case it wasn't obvious.

had it custom made for that room, best way to make the most out of the space. out there in Europa there's loads of ready made ones for sale, should be easy to find. if not, I bet you can find someone to build one for ya
