Nice, someone else on watmm has picked up the new Taylor Deupree. Such a good album. Did you get the box set or standard edition?

Popped into a random vinyl shop in Cheltenham and found the following gems.

The Smiths - Hatful of Hollow

Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge over troubled water

So not IDM.

Lady Alcofribas has been looking out for hatful of hollow but we haven't seen it around. there are reissues but they're crazy expensive (like $50!). so,, anyway, if you could just mail that to me that'd be lush thx.

Just the standard one. I think the box set is out of stock atm. I may not of gone for it anyhow, all of that lot cost me enough.

Edit- I haven't managed to listen to it yet. It's next on my list. I'm more excited now you've mentioned it specifically though.

Word. Yeah I looked around and Discogs seems to be the only place for copies of the box. I think it may be his best album. The song Shutter features some really moody guitar work from Seaworthy.

I remember looking at those two. Might have to pick them up. Forced Exposure still has copies.

I actually don't know many places to order cds from, apart from amazon, boomkat, bleep and some label shops. Forced Exposure looks interesting. Does anyone know any more sites like that, for more "underground" stuff? Maybe something more european based?

Cold Spring Records in England has a lot of obscure stuff. They have a website, just google it.

Ha!

I saw him perform a seance on his book tour. I'm a huge Make Up fan (and a decent-sized Chain and the Gang fan) but I wasn't expecting to be that entertained by a book tour performance, yet it was great. (Having said that of course I'd still rather see him perform...)

I went halfsies on the book with my ex-girlfriend and I've yet to get my mitts on it.

Is it good?

Haven't started it yet.

I read The Psychic Soviet and that was AMAZING! That dude is so funny.

I doubt this one can be bad.

A sucker for John Digweed, so had to pick up his latest offering (CD and vinyl).

Also got Confederation Trough from Boomkat (was back in stock on CD) and also ordered the Photodementia CD.

Awaiting BOC and I think thats its....
