Hehe i have images of Mr T jiging about 180bpm aphex crazyness with a class of poisoned milk in his hand.

I just find it amuzing that your all like "he has put loads of effort into it" and "its his most personal work". Do you really think most of his other stuffer he didnt try that hard or didnt comit himself fully or persoanlly until he started recording mellow piano tracks?

I can discern between this masterpiece and all the other ACTUAL masterpieces i have ever heard.

I have watched this forum for ages cos its well interesting but i have never understood why people say

"drukqs appreciation thread" then write pages and pages of "drukqs is amazing i especially like that bit Vord hosbn where the bass swells in for the first time gving you and overhwelming sense of form and beauty"

Of course you like the albnum you are on an aphex twin subforum, wouldnt it develop your own and mine and others musical understanding if we could use our appreciation of aphex to compare to other artists, and suggest various avenues of musical exploration instead of just repeating yourselves again and again and again.

Anyway im not @rsed there is a strong rumour i may be seeing him play this weekend maybe? but if not i get to see loads of artists just as good HOORAY

No, I was talking about the electronic pieces.

But anyway, the piano ones are also awesome.

Yo nobody talked about other albums, OF COURSE. This thread is about a singular album, Drukqs. Not other ones. Just start a thread on OTHER masterpieces of albums if you want to talk about them. Please go, do it, now.
