Hooper Bay!?

You can bet Warp will release the old stuff eventually. They'll want to cash in on the demand once BOC are done popping out new records. It will just be an Old Tunes for Cash sort of thing.

I've changed my mind, I believe that these albums do or did exist in some form. It's easy to believe that the Sandisons could have been so prolific; I doubt that they would've laboured over recording them for any length of time back in those days.

Maybe BoC could inject some life into their website by making the recordings available there (in the same way that Chris Leary has with his old stuff).

Hmmm.. i wonder where the samples where?

Also its interesting that the 3 old tunes are not listed here.

Did BoC ever indicate that they exist..?

Fredd-E's discog shows them as if they are legit items.

Was it right that some Hex Sun member aknowledged them after a tape

was stolen and some tracks got leaked..?

Clearly you didn't search so well. Here's the link to my original post when I found the samples using the wayback machine:

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

I'm referring to the BoC fansite that was before they got the .com domain.

BoC never had the OTs listed on their site, and after the additional pre-Twoism releases were added to the discography (Catalog 3, Closes Volume 1), they pulled them due to the constant questions regarding them when in fact they were just part of the webmaster's personal collection.

The OT's have been official recognized by a HexSun member on these very forums, but any specific information regarding their origins and sources are off the record.

Never heard the early stuff? There were audio clips of "Duffy" from Acid Memories, "Wouldn't You Like To Be Free?" From Play by Numbers, "Circle" from Hooper Bay - what fucking more do you want?

Hold the phone. Can you or anyone else gaurantee that those clips are 100% genuine? Like I said before. I won't believe that anything we've heard that claims to be old BoC tracks are genuine unless it comes from BoC themselves or WARP. We've heard the start of a track known to us as 'Red Moss' on the start of the TCH video promo thing. So we know that track must be real ......... although maybe it's not actually called Red Moss?

It's all very interesting when these clips appear & people get very excited that they could be genuine BoC works from the early days. Rumours circulate & people become wrapped up by the mystery of the whole thing. But surely the only real gaurantee that these clips are 100% genuine is when we actually see something official i.e. from BoC/WARP. So call me a jack ass if you will but for me this is the only logical standpoint to take!

It'd be interesting to see how some early BOC manages to last for 10+ minutes (eg. Line Two, Visual Drone 12). It must be pretty different in style...

Because who knows someone, who knows someone, who knows a guy that used to live next door to BoC. This person was kind enough to donate a tape contain music from all the early releases. He would post these himself except his dog (which was once taken for a walk by Marcus from BoC), for reasons best known to itself, pissed all over it one day deaming the contents inaudible!

No. Unfortunately he didn't have the foresight of his dog's actions.

He did manage to salvage 1 track though;

I've seen this page before... not really sure if he's actually heard them or not, but no reason to doubt him. Opinions are like arseholes... everyone's got one, and a lot of them stink.

I'm not confused anymore. My views are clear - unless it comes from the horses mouth it's all doubtful at best. After all this time I find it tedious to have any other view. It was fun for a while but it's gone of now. It stinks ....... like arseholes!
