A hoax? A scam created for a laugh to wind people up on forums like this! I know one thing. A lot of the tracks that were apparently from the OTV1 tape I had already managed to download back in the days of Audio Galaxy. In fact I manage to download a huge amount of apparently old BoC material from Audio Galaxy. This was a good 2 or 3 years before the OT stuff started appearing on other file sharing sites (Audio Galaxy, as a dodgy download site, was long gone by this time).

I remember thinking at the time how great it was I'd apparently stumbled on all this fantastic old BoC material but how strange it was that not a single track matched any of the stuff from the 'back catalogue' tracks that, at this time, were still being displayed on the Boards web site. It made me question the authenticity of the tracks I had downloaded. Several of them proofed to bee genuine as they appeared on official BoC releases (A couple of tracks being from 'Twoism' long before it was re-released for example).

So when I first came accross the OTV1 tracks on the net my original thought was that it was a fan made compilation of potentialy old BoC tracks & other obscure BoC sounding tracks. But still there wasn't really anything that tied in with the 'back catalogue' stuff.

Actually, what, I just confused myself.

I meant there are tracks on OTv_2_ that I do not think are BoC, regardless of the fact they do exist on that tape. It's confusing a little considering that the liner notes are basically about as good a proof as you can get, but it has already been noted that the tune in the track Apparatus was stolen from a MOD track. And although I cannot find a high-res copy of the liner notes, from what i see it isn't mentioned there. And you'd expect it would be, because they mentioned samples in the far less professional-looking AFOT.

I already did that, i found BOC there, and they gave me hard copies of all of their CD's Including the albums they made when Marcus was still in the womb. They then flew away in their purple flying saucer over the rainbow with Dayvan Cowboy blasting through the speakers. I dropped the albums though so i can't prove it.

All of this Hooper Bay Stuff is getting old, i suggest no one posts anything about "Is this Hooper Bay Stuff Real?????", unless the track "Circle", matches the original sample that's floating about, or somebody confirms what the track I found is (Geiser).
