Just to bring this up again about OTV1..

35 tunes mostly without names.

A tape stolen from BoC which they themselves where planning to put together as a box set.

(accordingly prince murat stole it)

A statement from 'mark' at hex sun spoke of how BoC where dissapointed because they wanted this to be a special release for the fans (all cleaned up with the correct titles).

As far as i am concerned these tracks ARE hooper bay, play by numbers, acid memories etc etc..

One day maybe all will be revealed..

Is no one with me on this..?

I'd like to be. The idea of an official release would clear things up once & for all, which would be fantastic. But again it's all hear say. Who is this Mark at Hex Sun? How reliable a source of info is this? The idea of a box set of old BoC material has always been a mouth watering prospect. But we've never heard anything about this from WARP or BoC themselves & with the amount of rumour, speculation & gossip surrounding this material surely this means we have to take it with a big pinch of salt.

You would have thought so ........ except what is Hex Sun exactly? And is this Mark really a close friend of the BoC guys? All sounds a bit suss to me - BoC were going to release a box set of old tracks & then someone nicked the tapes & that was the end of that!

Hex Sun.. hmmm not sure. i thought it was the recording studio (also films etc)

that's unlikely because the other releases have discography information that doesn't match up with the old tunes' info

Incorrect. Wasn't "stolen" from BoC, just somebody who didn't keep their word leaked it.

The OTs were never meant as a box set, or even to be released. They were private releases for friends and family.

Mark never made the above statement.

The tracks might be some of the pre-Twoism stuff, but until BoC confirms this themselves (I've asked them to identify the tracks and they declined), we'll never know. Probably not though, as a lot of the times don't match even within a few seconds of most of the pre-Twoism material.

If OTV1 is not BoC, they why would thee be BoC tracks (from the other OTs not to mention actual BoC releases) be intermixed with other artists who just happen to sound strikingly similar and are all mastered on the same tape?
