Why AE is better than AFX

I can appreciate the musical quality for most of Aphex's stuff but personally I'm more inclined towards darker, more devious sounding music and RDJ is almost sickly sweet at times. Its great but generally speaking I'm not in the mood for happy pixy lovey dovey music

goon gumpas makes me smile, but that song sounds like something so happy it's twisted and disturbing

well, if the middle portion (the part that has the horn thing) vaguely reminds me of the game house music from A Link to the Past. only A LOT slower. but a mario song? not sure....i'd have to give it thought
