maybe pc games arent very profitable to produce anymore because 90% of the PC gaming community makes up 80% of the torrent pirating community

fuck. i can't buy a 360 just to play one game.

i've been waiting for this too. i'm pissed off.

This wouldn't be a problem, because you can always just press the big X on your 360 controller and then select your own music for your game, and it automatically mutes the ingame-music.

It was quoted a long time ago that you could play the whole game through without seeing a single loading screen. So I should hope not.

Vice and San Andreas only took about 6 months to do a PC port. I'd expect something similar here. Rockstar has to get that money, right? Why leave PC users out in the cold?

What? No. Of course not.

I'd be shocked if the game took more than 2 or 3 gigs on disk. Remember games aren't rendered in HD, they're upscaled.

so ricky gervais has been confirmed as one of the comedians at the comedy club. he will also make an apperance elsewhere in the game but thats going to be left as a suprise.

Just go get a PS3. I'm serious. I just deleted a huge thing trying to convince you to get a 360 or PS3 and realized how much better the PS3 is, haha.

Yes, I own both. They're both awesome and shine in their own ways, but if I had to make a decision right now, I'd definitely have to go with the PS3.

It really came down to exclusives. Almost all of the good exclusives for the 360 are on the PC and others (Mass Effect) are on their way. I think just about everyone on this board can agree that home computers still dominate for games. BioShock, Mass Effect and Gears of War are all available to the home computer. Halo will probably make it there one day, too.

I don't see Sony porting their exclusives over to the PC. They've been developed for that system and that's a huge advantage they have. I doubt you'll see Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Killzone, Drake's Fortune, L.A. Noir, Ratchet & Clank, Tekken and others moving.

When it comes down to it, if your computer can run top notch games, you'll probably end up going with that. Especially with games like BioShock or Mass Effect which are, for the most part, first person shooters. You can add a keyboard and a mouse to your Xbox or PS3, but it's not the same. It's much harder to sit on your couch with a big ass mousepad and still dominate other players.

The only things I see the Xbox having over the PS3 right now is online play and a few better games if you don't own a top notch PC. Xbox live costs money and the PS3 has free online play. Sony is really starting to fix their shit as far as that goes. They just revamped PSN and have some other stuff coming out like Home.

Blu-ray, massive exclusives, revamped PSN, the support to install other operating systems, free online play and a more powerful system for only 50 bucks more than the 360 (currently) seems to be the better buy. However... if the exclusives for the PS3 don't intrigue you, your television is not something huge that will really show off Blu-ray and you don't care about playing online whatsoever, it doesn't matter which you have. There are a ton of awesome games coming and they're multi-platform. Might as well save the 50 bucks, get the 360 and pray you don't get the red ring of death. I got it on mine and Microsoft quickly shipped me a brand new 360 with no charge, which really surprised me. I had bought Halo 3 the day it happened, though. :laughing:
