There's no NTSC leak at the moment, but in two days or so I'm sure we'll see one around

I'm also looking forward to Fallout 3 though

i've been playing this for the past year or so (temp QA at R*) and i'm still looking forward to it, mostly for the multiplayer since i'm a bit tired of the single player (probably will still play it through the once at least). shame it's just leaked but hopefully most folk will avert their eyes and avoid spoilers as it really is best approached fresh. you cannae play the leaks online (afaik) so the multiplayer will at least be kept til folks have it in their hands which is pretty cool. only 6 days now!

I've had to look at a few of the gameplay videos, and I must say that the car physics along with the damage control look amazing! I can't wait to run into things again... ah, it has been TOO long!

(peter brittain, checkable in google for you cynical fucks since it's mentioned in press about my greenbank EP) and my general point was that yes it's quality enough that i'm looking forward to it after playing it for ages, not oooh i'm ace check me out i've been playing it for ages. it's a good game.

Im not sure whats so unbelievable about someone working Q&A at R*. Game companies hire lots of testers Q/A folks to do what's actually a really mundane task of testing every little nook and cranny of every game for whatever stupid crazy bugs might pop up. At the Boston Post Mortem meeting I saw a talk once from a guy who went on (for too long, heh) about how testers will find everything and you will never be able to duplicate it, but just trust them, when they say that hitting this wall at this speed at this precise angle will somehow make the model squish through the wall to the other side, it actually can happen and you actually do need to fix it. Anyhow, I would suspect that someone working Q/A for the game would love to see it come out so they can actually play it instead of trying to find how many different clipping errors they can discover while on each and every vehicle or something.

i spent about 4 hours last night just driving around and trying things out and i really think that the delay was the right thing for this game. it is refined as hell!

The explosions make me happy

niiice. the explosions could be a little flashier, considering what i've seen in some other games recently, but that's only a minor nitpick. looks like a good time though. one of my favorite things to do in "crackdown" was stand at the top of really high buildings and throw grenades or rockets at the streets below. the resulting explosions were pretty intense, especially if you happened to catch a big rig with a rocket launcher.

that live feed is awesome. the lighting during the night time scenes is beautiful. now i don't feel like such a chump for preordering without having seen any gameplay footage.
