yeah i'll be up for the qua, pivot and belew gigs. and possibly next friday too, if i'm not doing anything else.

I wish I could go Qua and Mountains In The Sky, both sweet bands, but it's right in the middle of exams, I'll see how I go. I might be seeing Qua this Friday at The Birmingham Hotel, again, it's getting really close to my maths exams so I might not.

I am seeing Dead Letter Circus on the 15th though (just after exams).

Was going to go see Holy Fuck, but I'm going to be in Byron at the time, so I'm going to Brisbane to see them instead.

I might go see Jamie Lidell, I'll see how I feel about him closer to the time.

Corner Hotel always has such nice bands playing, hopefully I can get to one of these gigs for a catch up. :D

nah, to Australians, Kiwi accents is quite different. but it's relative, so to anyone else it seems the same.

I don't know if anyone was serious about going to that gig tonight. I mean it's not electronic music related, I just happen to be going to it so I thought I'd mention it. Thing is I don't know what time I will get there as I may be working 'till late. If anyone does go though, I'll gladly drink it up with you there at some point.

hmm, i might have to pass on that. i'm still recovering from getting rather smashed on wednesday night and having to get up for work at 5.30am the next day.

so, just noticed, qua has been added to the lineup of the pivot gig on the 22nd of november.

i'll be going to that.

would've been away on the 22nd, but just had flight date moved back 4 days, so i can just fit it in :D

everyone pencil it in with a permenant marker, qua+pivot should be a good night.

i just realised that my surf band has a rehearsal on the night of qua's gig this saturday. and there's no way i'm piking on that, considering how good we're getting, hehe!

my dad helped adrian belew come down and tour australia, so i'll probably be going with my dad to that one as well. last time i saw him we talked for a fair bit afterwards, about electronic music and such (he's a fan of squarepusher^_^)

yeah, i have like, maths, chemistry and physics exams next week. so no way known i'm getting to qua this weekend.

yeah, we're getting pretty good. early days yet, we don't have a drummer or any proper songs, but we can jam together really well.

i'm on the fence about it. kind of leaning towards pivot/qua at the minute though.

pigster is definately going i think. i'm invited to one of my best friends girlfriends 18th on that night, but i'll know probably 3 people there, i will know more people at the pivot gig. :D

qua was good too, but i enjoyed his other set awhole lot more. didn't see any lemur action tonight :P
