Love Perlence Suns, this is the sort of thing I was hoping for as well. And it's a bit of a buzz geting a track a day like this.

also, yes and no -- the new release was intended to be versions of tracks from the latest album, yet to be released. this fact is very clear.

yet it doenst mean that people cannot subsequently complain and express their opinion -- isnt this what these types of boards are for?

i think ae are milking the shit out of the new album and i think some of hardcore fans here are just a bit dissapointed. its 'new' material

'Twould be nice as well if Chenc9-1Dub went in to that part we all love from the untilted set. The bass line in that is somewhat dubby.

soundboard once again....peeps cannot contain the fact that this is some of the best material theyve made ever.

To be honest, I actually reckon the untilted/quaristice bootlegs do contain the best material they've ever done.

That's not to say that their discography isn't packed to the rafters full of gems (regardless of era, b/c it's all great), but by now I'd say i've clocked up more hours listening to the soundboards/bootlegs than their studio releases.

oh and...em...any chance of gettin hooked up with perlence suns? twould be much appreciated.....got blyz castl if anyone still needs it (unlikely)

Yeah, this is better. I dislike every perlence version I've heard (apart from the album edit). But this has a much nicer flow. Usually I don't want that from ae, but the more 'broken' beat tracks just sound noodley and badly mixed with aimless, flumpy kick drums stumbling over each other. Actually, that description sounds quite nice.

Jesus, Perlence Suns really is dark as hell :O

i agree its all a bit too similar now although its been about half simlar and half original so far so thats good news.

also you have to realize that excluding the japanese digital exclusive, only 1000 people have 'officially' heard the bonus disc on quaristice so you should look at these tracks as if the only ones you've heard are the original album versions.

with that view on it, these tracks are FANTASTIC

well, only 1000 people officially *own* them. It must've been expected that those tracks were going to be torrented.

With that in mind, these tracks are ok. ;)

I reckon they made most of quaristice on a live rig (speakers, I mean) rather than the usual studio monitors. These versions probably make a lot more sense on a big rig. The album versions had at least gone through a lot more post-production to make them sound good on a variety of different systems - and they do. But these new lot just seem to have the most rudimentary mastering done to them. Flabby basses...seriously. I'll have to play them LOUD.

they should release a massive versions retrospective with one new version for every track they've ever released for the next however many days it takes.

Not that radically different from the Japanese exclusive, but '90101-51-6' is still excellent. Good for anyone who didn't get a copy of the iTunes EP as well.

Nearly a third of the way through, best track so far, anyone? I wasn't overwhelmed by 'The Plc ccc' at first, but it's grown and grown on me this week, I love that track at the minute.

crossing my fingers we hear a new track in this one thats not ambient like Blyz castl, perlence suns is my favorite so far.
