I read the book, I dug it a lot. I am curious to see what happens with this adaptation. Also curious because I liked The Proposition.

I just want a real post apocalyptic movie where everyone is crying all the time and people die like nonstop... yeah... *leans back, smokes pipe and imagines*

I can see that after The Road, there's no need for post-apocalyptic movies anymore.

Except hack&slash action no-brainer movies. Or zombie movies. That can work. But it's like doing a Vietnam movie nowadays.

Marc Forster is the director which is kind of weird since he's made movies such as Quantum of Solace, Finding Neverland, The Kite Runner, Stranger than Fiction and so on...

i fully agree, not sure if you have read the synopsis for the next one but it sounds far far worse than 3 or 4 (yes it is possible to go BELOW zero)

plot: john conner time travels himself back to 2011 (before judgement day) to help the british army use conventional weapons to fight skynets robots who are being time traveled back to 2011 to fight the humans .

Conner meets the human scientist who helped create the T1000 and he is played by old man robert patrick

terminator 6: Skynet sends gay dad terminators back in time to protect and rear Kyle Reese, in the hope that they will nudge the orphan down the path of homosexuality, thereby destroying John Connor's future. They succeed, but Connor travels back in time, and with the aid of advanced pornography featuring an orgy of Arnolds, is able to coax forth a precious thimble of ejaculate from Reese. However Reese's organ is destroyed in the process, forcing Connor to implant the ejaculate into a Terminator and program it to fuck Sarah Connor, thereby securing the future timeline, and subtly underscoring the theme that even from sterile machines, new life can spring.

omg this is great, this guy's review is perfect. he is the only other one i've heard suspect Bale's psychological breakdown was because he had a realization he was the 3rd person playing john conner in the absolute worst Terminator sequel

well just watched this. I'm pretty happy I didn't waste any money on this in the theatre.

Oh and lumpenprol's scenario for T6 is fucking money.
