Finished Vagrant Story, now playing Zone of the Enders.

ZOE is great, lots of fun to smash things in a giant robot. have to pick up the second one someday..

I read the second game is by far better than the first one. I'm having lotsa fun so far except for the lack of exploration possibilities.

Finished ZOE last night, now playing the second game. Holy crap at the improvements! The graphics still look great today and the gameplay is even better!

Finishing: Yakuza 4 (does it end?). Started: Journey. Still have to finish 3D DOT GAME HEROES. Buying: El Shaddai.

Also, Alan Wake PC. Runs great with my PS3 controller connected.

My 'still have to finish' list has 3D dot game heroes and about 10 other games:(

Just beat Yesterday. Story line 1-10 = 7 Execution 1-10 = 6 Visuals and Tech 1-10 = 6.5 Puzzles = 6.5 Total = 6.5

Over all the game was alright. It was pretty fun doing the puzzles and they were pretty clever but its not worth its current price tag of 29.99.

Anyone else playing Journey? Unbelievable game.

Done with it (had to beat it about 4 times to get all the trophies and decorate my cloak fully (still can't get the white cloak I see some people with). Great experience, but a bit short. I had hoped for a persistent, ongoing, evolving world, not a 20+ minute Journey to God.

The thing is though, it's not a game that's just 'done' to completion in any conventional sense - It's more an hour's experience that is played over and over like re-watching a great film or re-reading a book. The same criticisms are thrown at things like Dear Esther (and to a lesser extent Rez / Child of Eden): Yes the time from hitting start to reaching the end credits is much less than that of the current generation of 'traditional' games, but citing brevity as a flaw is somewhat overlooking the intended nature of the game.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

I'm halway thru MGS2, and this game has already confirmed to me that immersion and realism in a game has nothing to do with real life-like graphics, but attention to detail; little things like slipping in gull's shit, falling heavily when roundkicking upstairs, the colonel calling you in disgust when entering the ladies toilets... I've only played MG 1-2, MGS1 and halfo f MGS2 and this is already one of my favourite sagas ever.

I'm not slighting it on it's brevity, per se - I had just hoped with the online component, there would be more of a persistent world. You really can't go back once you've completed an area, and while you can spend ages wandering around in an area, discovering things, running into other players occasionally - it still moves you towards the goal, and thus hastening the experience. I guess I expected something different, but I still enjoyed the game immensly.

You do know about the chapter select feature right?

Orcs Must Die - a bit late on this one but it's good fun! Really like how they implemented steam leader boards. Currently trying to beat Kaen!

Stacking - really like this one... good, warm-bellied fun. One of the better puzzle games I have played.
