Okay, uncharted 2 is turning out to be longer than I expected. I'm at shambala, fights are a lot tougher now. It feels like the first half goes by very quickly, the last half seems a lot more constantly changing.

EDIT: not what I meant to say. but I'm stoned. Last half chapters it takes a lot longer to progress. Jumping parts are harder, puzzles are bigger, enemies are tougher.

In the meantime I'm still playing FFXIII. I'm about 46 hours in and I must say, I'm actually really enjoying it.

 

Fucking hell, you must be playing a LOT - you went from admiring my 12 (har har), to having a 10 yourself in a short span of time! I play perhaps an hour, half an hour every other day or so when I have the time.

 

And yes, GoW 1 is great - I'm a bit disappointed by how much 2 apes 1's systems and weapons (Posiedon's Rage is now Chronos' Rage, etc.), but the graphics are markedly better than 1, and that's saying a lot.

Ya, I've got lots of time on my hands. I'm currently on disability, so I'm stuck at home with nothing to do except to play video games, watch movies etc...

It'll still be a bit until I catch up to you. But I've got the games to do it. So look out, I'm gonna have a bunch more trophies coming in the next few months. I've bought games I need to play yet: Dead Space, Uncharted 2, Skate 2, GoW2 and GoW3, Heavy Rain (I've beaten it, but I want more trophies). And there's a sale going on at Zellers next week, they are dropping the price of Killzone 2, LittleBig Planet, and a few other games to $30 each. So I'm gonna pick up the mentioned games when the time comes.

The Bitmap Brothers really had some style.

Though not a BB game, Brutal Sports: Football was probably the only sports game along with Speedball that I enjoyed. It's probably down to the Vikings, stompings and decapitations.

That last game reminds me of Mutant league football/ice hockey on the Genesis. Man they were fricking awesome brutal games especially the ice hockey one.

Finished GOW3 the other day. Really good end battles I think the ending is a little funny. Started the challenges when I was drunk last night and they're not as tough as I thought but they'll definately require me to be sober.

BlazBlue is AWESOME. Never had this much fun losing against the final arcade boss on a fighting game a million times over.

the Blur beta is going open to the public on April 6 via Xbox Live. oh yeah

still need to finish the mass effect 2 single player which amazing but ive been so distracted with music, a girls vagina and her cooking skills, could be worse but maaan theres so many good games to play, probably gonna play through AvP(looks soo good on my PC) single player after I spooge all over ME2 im sure its just gonna keep getting better. it would be nice to be a gamer with a lot of free time right now

But seriously the AvP single player is pretty dire tbh. I completed the Marines one and got really bored with the Predator & Alien ones so didn't bother. Multiplayer is short term fun though.

Just picked up Batman AA & Resident Evil 5. Having quite a bit of fun with the former although the graphics and aspects really remind me on a weaker Infamous.

But anyway, I love the music of it - reminds me of Bola but a slightly more abstract chord progression. And the fact that you really don't quite know whether you're doing good or bad.
