Blue Velvet (rewatch).

Orignally was a 2/10, now it's a 6/10. It's really is a little too harrowing - I guess you could argue Lost Highway or Mulholland Drive have less hope than Blue Velvet, but in both of those cases

United 93

Very entertaining past the first hour, the beginning was awfully long.

Me and gf are in the middle of watching "The Island" with McGregor and its getting shittier by the minute. Can someone just tell me what happens in the end so I don't have to watch it? Or if it's as dumb as it's getting to be just tell me...

Scarlett Johansson sounds funny when she screams. Sounds like an elephant.

lol.

Just watched Shutter Island. I can always count on Scorsese for the  5/10

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

-organized confused project

bunny and the bull - bunny and the bullshit 2/10

the hurt locker - 7/10 over hyped but enjoyable all the same

I also just watched The Secrets in their Eyes/El Secreto de Sus Ojos - 8/10

Great crime movie. Lots of funny little details and a great cast but the last 20 minutes were really really slow.

I feel so bad for the Husband ,

Clash of the Titans 0.3/3

This is pretty much what I thought it was going to be, all style and no substance. The real kick in the ass was the owl was only referenced once for a whopping 40 seconds and then he literally throws it away, that was what I remember most from the old movie (that and Medusa). I was really hoping they would include the owl, there was even a preview for an owl movie before hand. The only thing that was really good was the fight scene with the scorpions and the Craken and even that doesn't last very long.

If that is in reference to United 93 that is the dumbest thing I have ever seen.

This is in reference to the new Ben Stiller movie called "Greenberg"

Oh. It's Paul *Greengrass* who made United 93 anyway. I was a little too quick to presume people would be offended. *regains faith in humanity*

Greenberg looks... interesting... *adds to The List*

Prince of Darkness - 6.5/10

Precious - 8.5/10

The Informant - 8/10

The Hangover - 5/10

30 Days of Night - 6/10

paper heart 3/10

i just really have no idea. the only thign hat kept my interest was trying to work out if the old married couples were real or not. the stories seemed fake but the acting was very good. actors playing "real people" (in commercials anyway) are usually very easy to spot but i'd be impressed if they were actors. in short this was awful garbage.

come on scott pilgrim!

thought the acting by Matt Damon was excellent, not to mention how fat he got. loved the pacing of the story. loved how it was extremely funny but not forced or heavy handed comedy. loved how they cast lots of obscure comedians in serious roles, Patton Oswalt, Joel Mchale, Andrew Daly, the son from Arrested Development playing a fast-talking lawyer. I just thought it was extremely refreshing type of movie out of a sea of shitty dramadies and bad popcorn movies. There were very subtle things in the film that i thought were pretty genius like how Matt Damon keeps adjusting his wig, at first you think it's like a movie fuckup 'wait did he just adjust his wig?' but then you realize its because thats part of the character lying too, he wears a hair-piece

I watched The Shining last night - or at least half of it. Hadn't watched it in a while and to be honest I've never really been a big fan of it. That Shelley-what's-her-name must be one of the worst actors of all time. She doesn't deliever one line in the entire movie that sounds a tiny bit convincing. Jack Nicholson on the other hand is brilliant and one scene that caught my attention was the scene in the kitchen where Danny talks to Dick ( Scatman Crothers ) about The Shining. I don't know why I've never paid any attention to this scene, because it's actually quite brilliant. It's almost like a scary Tarantino-scene - you know, it's a lenghty scene where nothing much happens except for some well written dialogue.

I'm going to finish it tonight.

really? that's funny... i always thought she carries off a great portrayal of a do-anything-to-please-her-man wife, annoyingly dutiful but down trodden and trying to be up-beat... then pretty convincingly walking egg-shells as he slips into madness, on the knife's edge, then completely terrified, shit-scared.

i like her performance alot.
