i have to admit that as bad as the CGI looks in the new green lantern footage, my geek heart weeped a little bit at the ambitious scope of what they did

Waste of robert deniro.

It's funny you should mention him as someone should be praised because some of my friends and I were talking about Robert De Niro a couple of days ago and none of us could remember the last memorable movie he had starred in. He has done some pretty damn good movies - no doubt about that - but he hasn't been in a great movie for the last 13 years. The last one being Ronin (1998).

What tha fuck happened to you, man? Your ass used to be beautiful.

Source Code - 8/10 - an awesome 2 hour long episode of the Outer Limits, best thing Jake G has done since Brokeback, maybe not as well conceived as Moon but I like the idea more. Go see it for the sci-finess. Bowie's son is turning out to be a science fiction film saviour. Really enjoyed it.

and thanks Lump for noticing that I do focus on the 'big picture' within films. It could be a flaw but I am all about story lines, and I pay attention to it more than acting and shots on first watch. I watch films more than once to see all of the aspects so Never Let Me Go might not impress me as much the second time around. Moon is a great example of me not being so impressed the first time around and really liking it the second and third times I viewed it.

source code

not bad. not great. no moon. enjoyable. the end actually surprised me.

i think it would have been more involving if we'd only seen things that he saw, so we only saw goodwin/rutledge via the video and only saw the inside of the capsule and obviously in the source code.

Yes. Yes, he was.

So, re: Source Code, the consensus seems to be "that's no Moon!"?

Assault on Precinct 13 - 8/10 Carpenter wrote some amazing tunes.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre - 9/10 I'd always avoided this and before sticking it on I was expecting to find it pretty boring. Most of the horror is comical, the most chilling bit probably Leatherface's chainsaw ballet towards the end, but the sound, editing, way it looks and everything else is fantastic.

my mom likes nannou and all drukqs piano tracks.... probably cause i play avril 14 on piano

she likes tracks that aren't to hectic rhythmically so that narrows a lot of it down.

i put some idm tracks on my sisters laptop back in the day and she got rid of them. she likes feist and stuff..

lol@yek

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I enjoyed watching Enter the Void again recently. Amazing sound design as well. 10/10

I've been meaning to watch this again too, something put me off and irritated me about it the first time round. Yet I have a nagging sense that I'd like it if I gave it another try.

I'll elaborate later.

Watched this last night, horribly predictable and stupid but I enjoyed it for the most part. 5.5/10

the expendables 2/10

wow. to make a film this bad in every aspect you must surely be trying to make a bad movie.

the lighting was pitch black. the fight scene editing was way too fast. the acting was pretty much what you would expect. lundrum takes the award for worst acting in one of the worst films i have ever seen. it was so bad i couldnt turn it off in hopes of seeing somethign even worse seconds later.

the best moment is when the one guy punches the guy whose on fire in a face! yeeeeah

oh and maybe when statham pops out of the front of the plane

so he went back for the girl and then left?? haha romance!

the scene with stallone, arnie and bruce willis omg titans of acting improvising with each other = pure beauty

no one told mickey rourke what film he was in. a 2 min tattoo and a little cry

and it ends on a poem!
