yep, one thing is leaving interpretation to the audience (E.I Inception)

LOL

why is this lol (besides the mangling of "ie., ")? Seems Nolan did try to leave it open to interpretation....

but only that final scene, and the interpretation you give it doesn't even matter anyway.

ZOMG! Lazerz pew pew pew!!!!11!!1!!!!1!oneone!shift+one!~!!!

The Inside Man - 6.7/10

I dunno, but Spike Lee's pacing just felt really bad in this movie - and the score was terrible. Actually I don't know if terrible is the right word. More like the score didn't match the scenes.

Denzel was the highlight as usual. Although his wife in lingerie wasn't too bad either :)

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

'Somewhere'.

I really do love Sofia Coppola's films, beautifully underplayed. It's no 'Lost In Translation 2' by long shot, which of course isn't the idea. I love how she's fond of letting the watcher really, REALLY dwell on the picture. Let uneventful shots play out longer than you'd expect - and NOT drench it with fitting mood-setting music.I found it interesting that there's only background music when the intro rolls, near the end and when the credits roll, all other times it's coming from visible sources in the shot. I quite liked that.

I loved Deathproof. I hope it's not that something's wrong with me again.

The ending was totally unexpected and fucking awesome.

I love Deathproof but it's increasingly obvious that there actually is something wrong with me; YMMV

zero day

holy fuck, last 10 minutes of this. i don't really know any other movie that achieves this level of realism.

it's a take on the columbine shootings, filmed in "found footage" style. but unlike most fake documentaries (which suck because you know they're fake), this one is based on real events... so it's easy to imagine the reality of the situation... what a nightmare.

most depressing thing i've seen all year / 10

cool poster

except from the pedophile priest with his arms around some kid.

Super - 7.5/10 - This is the movie I wanted Kick Ass to be. The end is a bit too different tonally from the rest of the film but not enough to detract much. Then again, the last fifteen minutes of this film are so crazy that anything after would seem tame. Props to Atop for recommending this to me after I bitched about how much of a wasted opportunity Kick Ass was.

just watched this, quite disturbing indeed, and after reading the imdb forums about it i eventually ended up on youtube watching real columbine / virginia tech footage so now i feel even worse.

embarrassingly bad slapstick shite/10, like everything else atkinson has ever done, it was funny 20 years ago.

from imdb

  Quote

The reason it isn't funny is because Rowan Atkinson is not using British humour. The producers know the Americans don't get our humour at all, so Atkinson and the team are trying to do American humour and failed there too.

granted i haven't seen blackadder, but i can't imagine i'd like it since everything else i've ever seen atkinson do has all been cheap slapstick kneeslap "comedy".

Blackadder is pretty funny, it's not like his slapstick shit at all.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

I just watched all seasons of black adder back in the autumn of '11 and I loved them.
