how come sensible members (don't make drunk threads) like zaphod and yegg take ambien? i don't know what ambien is but it seems like it instantly has the effect of blacking out after drinking a huge amount

don't drink and take ambien, trust me . Ambien alone is great is you don't fall asleep- mild hallucinations and boners.

well i used to take ambien because i got night terrors all the time and needed some kind of sleeping aid. i take melatonin sometimes but i still have ambien and it can be fun. and no, you shouldn't drink and take it, but i do. i drink with everything.

and then i look over at sammy and he goes "oh no, oh dear, i think he's actually hurt. he took a hard fall of there, boy. gosh, i hope he's okay." i say, "okay, we're gonna check on him and make sure he is; we'll try and get back to you as soon as we can. mm. jeez."
