yeah mate, that tune isn't actually the correct mix. the boogie boys tune listed up there uses the same beats that appear in the first tune that was played (although i've no idea if the boogie boys sampled it themselves). i know the scream your talking about, but i don't think it's the same as the one from that afx tune you're referring to.

 

i think the one he played is mostly likely either a remix or it's another tune that has sampled the boogie boys tune. definitely don't think it's by RDJ though.

Howdy, i was not around for a while. But it is more than year now since Aphex's Ferropolis liveset. Is any better version of this gig available ? (as i recall the version that was around here was a bit off quality in the first half).

hello folks! does anybody know the track appearing in "Aphex Twin - 2002-05-05 - UK-England-London.mpg" from the Ether Party at about 30 seconds? I could swear that i heard it before somewhere...

all the tunes in that video are awesome!

however the only ones I know are Portreath Harbour and this, which comes in at 2:44.

no its unreleased squarepusher. he played it at a wang nite in london a few months ago.

this track is one of a series played by richard in the 2002 rome gigs and all are off 2 * 12s

(white labels called 'intelli-gent'). i asked tom if he would ever considering releasing them. the

answer was negative.

oh that's interesting! in fact the synth line sounds like squarepusher... heard a track played by cylob with exactly the same percussion, maybe also squarepusher. it's from the same "acid white label" stuff...
