I had to see Elf to day, I thought it was really cheesy. And most of it wasn't in a funny way, though I did laugh a few times.

Clerks (no its not clever, but i respect the way in which it was filmed)

Salo (don't get me started on this one ok? i hate it, yet recommend it to friends so they know why i hate it)

Blow (over stylized and over sympathetic view of Jung's life, plus Johnny Depp pretending to be a teenager?? LOL)

Amores Perros (I remember really, really, really wanting to love this movie, but it just never clicked, i wouldnt say its a horrible movie, but definately one of my greatest viewing disappointments)

The Hangover (as much as i love Zach's stand up, i think i laughed maybe three times in this movie, most overrated overhyped comedy i can think of in recent history)

i didn't even make it all the way through this one

i tried to do a double feature of it with cidade de deus

i don't know remotely why i thought they would be similar

City of God is probably one of my alltime fave movies though...its got a bit of everything...although they tried waay to hard to pull off that tarantino/ritchie style

Twister - that fukcin movie!

I really tried to like it because it was recommended by so many people, but I just don't get all they hype surrounding Inglourious Basterds.

I like Tarantino's other movies a LOT, don't get me wrong. Love his use of dialogue as a way to create tension or a way to laugh at (what most would consider) grotesque situations.

But Basterds was BORING. The dialogue was even shittier.

And that whole "basement bar" scene almost put me to sleep.

Donnie Darko, a movie thats not as clever as it thinks it is. Unfortunatly a couple of million morons believed the movies own trumpet playing arse.

sweet jesus. i went to see this in a theatre about a year ago. fucked up shit. never saw so many people walk out of a movie before.

although the theme music kicks fucking ass

i bought it for a friend of mine who likes weird and gory movies and after watching it with him for the first time i turned to him and said 'im sorry man i really didn't realize this movie would be so shit'
