yeah grilled, or done in the toaster if it's wide enough to take them.... also toasted on an open fire.

That right there is a delicious British crumpet.

I've also this weird habit of making a peanut butter sandwich (with butter on first), then putting it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Melted together and hot it tastes so good.

no no - we have those too - they're completely different to crumpets. we call those english muffins also...

edit: english muffins are bread-like whereas crumpets are....actually, what the fuck are crumpets made from? they're kind of spongy and elasticy and not like bread.
