spotted dick is a sort of doughy pudding with currants in it, its made with suet I believe, kind of like christmas pudding if you know how that works. don't look up what suet is if you don't know, you're better off not knowing

American biscuits are not sweet. They are flaky, buttery, crispy goodness. They are closer to a roll than your English biscuits and that is why gravy goes with them.

flapjacks are one of my favourite sweet snacks. the only two things that beat it for me are tiffin and brownies. flapjacks are most definetely not shit, let me tell you. although making a good flapjack is hard work, the level of golden syrup is a fine balance.

its like refrigerator cake if youve tried that. i dont know how to explain it, its dense, squidgy, very chocolatey and slightly crunchy at the same time. fantastic stuff. its almost like compressed brownie with vague crunch. i dunno.

i smoke cigarettes sometimes, but its ok because i eat salad
