For the love of God no. I have no idea how to make crumpets and they aren't the kind of thing we brits cook, we buy them from supermarkets. Not like we bake cakes and stuff. If you're going to try crumpets buy them.

Tried it.

1st time was not buttery enough

2nd time I added a load of butter. It was good.

Overall, I wouldn't do it again, as it made me feel FAT.
