Breaking Bad Season 3

not a fan of the last episode, stuff is being stretched out a little too far i think, Skylar is just now a really annoying character, i feel almost nothing for her t this point. At the finale of Season 2 i was very excited when she wanted to leave, i thought finally she's standing up for herself and not being a total push over.

i fear that when the shit really hits the fan (kidnapping of his wife, child, murder of someone in his family, hank finding out Walt's hiesgenberg) its going to as a season finale cliffhanger. I miss the really intense darkness of the first season, where you jump into the first episode and insane things are already happening.

Feels a little bit too forced drama, i really hope it changes direction. Maybe Vince Gilligan has something really cool up his sleeve that im not expecting

How is Skylar an annoying character??. If anything, she was brilliantly portrayed in that episode. She is stuck between protecting her children from a "drug dealer" but at the same time she is not sure if she wants to see Walt being arrested seeing how much they are gone through together. Its pretty easy to hate Skyler because she is being a bitch but her reactions are totally justified from what she know about Walt.

Skylar didn't really fuck Ted right? I didn't catch her saying that and I don't think they alluded to it in the show. I love how cold blooded Walt's partner was when he bought his parents house from under them. Served!

well there lies the rub. She could have fucked Ted or she might just be saying that just to piss off Walt. At the end of the episode she said "I f-ed Ted" (AMC bleeped the "fuck" part but I am pretty sure thats what she said. Skylar had a thing for Ted ( or was it the other way round?) since the second half of Season two where there was definitely some sexual tension between the two while Skyler was pregnant. It could be boiled down to the fact that Walt wasnt really "there" for Skyler when Skyler needed him the most,so she went to Ted for that emotional connection during her pregnancy.

Goddamn Skylar and her big ol titties. I don't think she actually fucked him. There was a part in the second episode of this season where she's telling him that she can't submit the company's financial figures as they are. She's leaning over a little bit, showing her cleavage. She catches the boss looking and covers up. It all happens really quick and subtle.

so are we to interpret Hank's actions as a suicide attempt? thats what i took from it, but i dont remember anything too ridiculous happening to him last episode for him to want to snuff it.

....... The show couldn't have made it seem like she indefinitely "fucked ted" anymore than it did. After all that sexual tension between them since shes been there getting no action from walt, she finds out he is a meth manufacturer(=big time ashamed anger from a middle class decent wife)he forces himself back into her life, wants to give her all that money, her emotions were extremely confused or maybe there's some understandable female reaction there that I don't understand, either way she wanted to give walt something to be angry about too.

SHE SAYS TO TED "are your kids at home?" and ted shakes his head nooooO... then they obviously went and fuct like angry under stimulated wild rabbits

whoops, I totally forgot that part. Yeah that definitely leads me to believe she had sex with Ted.

at this point i don't really give a shit if she had sex with ted or not, should i care?

the show opens up with Walt and Jesse having to kill someone and at season 3 we're worrying about adultery? it seems like it should be flipped around the other way. I mean i love Breaking Bad but i don't understand why they seem to be stretching out inevitable consequences to his actions for so long. Waiting for the other shoe(s) to drop is getting frustrating. My prediction is that either hank will find out about Walt and/or one of Walt's family members will be put into danger as a season finale Cliffhanger. I hope i'm wrong, i hope the writing on this show has not gotten that predictable.

I feel like perhaps as much as a genius as Vince Gilligan is he's digging into his old x-files bag of tricks to keep the show going for longer.

I think you would be one of those people who would complain about this show no matter what direction the creators decide to take. If they moved too fast, you would complain about how there is no character development or motive to certain things. If the show is slow paced, you are complaining about how Vince Gilligan is just trying to stretch out the season. If they introduced something out of blue as opposed to continuing on with the character's story arcs, you would be complaining about how they are running out of original ideas and throwing whatever sticks at their viewers.

haha ok, i guess i figured on watmm there would be at least one staunch defender who cant find fault in something they enjoy

thanks for playing the role

I've been a huge fan of Vince Gilligan since his shitty movie 'Pyromaniacs love story'

the way you tried to characterize my enjoyment of the show above is strangely hyperbolic

i think some of my critiques are pretty valid

PS: i love breaking bad and i cherish every episode of the X-files that Vince Gilligan wrote or directed,

i OWN this movie, and yes it's embarrassing when people see the box but its worth it because of how awesome Gilligan makes it

so please don't try to paint my appreciation of this show with a false brush, its pretty irritating on many levels

Right and you calling me a "staunch defender who cant find fault in something they enjoy" and making Breaking Bad about "adultery" is not hyperbolic at all.

no, i think it had to do with somekind of PTSD from the explosion in s2, where the informant, seen in the opening of this episode, got his head attached to a turtle. hank was getting assigned back to that team and going to that bar and starting shit was just his way of checking if he is ready for action and able to cope with it.

this is very close to an example in the dictionary for hyperbole

interesting, if this was the case then why did Hank put his gun back in the car? The bar definitely had something to do with it, but i feel like there may have been some suicidal tendencies there

i must say that i didn't particularly enjoy this last episode, but at least it leads me to believe that some character development on some of the people i've become more and more interested in is on the way.

i really want to see more about hank, since he kind of hasn't been developed too much and could add a pretty interesting bent on the show. he seems to be a cool cat and a decent enough guy, other than the fact that he's a cop

not to mention that i really do enjoy jesse's role in the show and am especially eager to see how he will unfold on the heels of what went down last season.

here's to hoping there's a little more action on episode 4.

maybe he didn't want to chance it that the baddies would get his gun and shoot him with it and also to prove to himself that he can manage without a gun. i didn't get a suicidal tendency at all. was just a test for himself to see if he still "got it" and be a badass DEA agent again.

Didn't he get bullied at the new place he was transfered to? I remember him not being very happy, putting on his fake laughter and all that jazz. Maybe he decided to beat up those guys and breaking the protocol so he wouldn't get transfered again.

was reading a review for this episode on IGN that confirmed that Ted had previously sexually harassed her, I forgot the subtle details of that issue in season 2. that goes to show how big of a deal it is that she fucked him and told walt about, she wanted to do anything she could get back at him and to disillusion him back into the reality of their family's situation. this episode needed to bring that into the focus as we see walt's actions having severe consequences for himself and his family.

this was a funny episode. walt is really going off the deep end and oblivious that he's really close to getting killed. he should go back to cooking meth, the only thing he's good at.

Looking back now, the development of Jesse's character is really incredible. I read that he was originally intended as comic relief and Vince was going to kill him off in Season 1, but Aaron Paul owned the character too much.

That opening scene with him last night was chilling/heartbreaking/evil and his acting was really fucking subtle. All in the eyes.
