new episode is exactly the direction I hoped they would go

pretty much agree, i was REALLY starting hate Skylar, i'm glad she finally had kind of a breakthrough

i think it would be a really good dynamic if Hank figures out Walt is Heisenberg completely separate from his investigation and learns of it 2nd hand through his wife. I feel eventually Skylar is going to have to confide in someone besides her lawyer about Walt's meth making

yeah it just opens up a whole slew of doors the plot could go... i can't wait to see the shit walt produces in his new "workspace" ha

Essines has, and always will remind me of MacReady.

i'm not an expert in chemistry, but to my very basic understanding methamphetamine in it's pure state is clear, that's why it got the slang term glass. Are we to believe that using a different precursor other than pseudophedrine would make a purer product but would actually be slightly blue in color? usually discolored crystal product means that it's not as pure as it can be. A good example of this is most DMT you will find on the street is off white or yellow in color, this is because it has slight amount of plant impurities still in it. Maybe a chemist on the board can shed some light on this.

wait i think i misspoke above, the blue meth in the show is not actually stronger/purer than Walt's original glass was it? From my recollection one was not stronger than the other, it was just that the blue meth was a tell tale sign that it was heisenberg's work

the blue meth originated after walt and jesse stole that barrel of chemicals from that facility... instead of using the shit they get from flu/cold medicine ... its no better or worse, it just makes it blue

i guess what im trying to say is if it's blue wouldn't it be technically slightly worse? speaking strictly from a chemistry perspective here, it seems that would mean some of the precourser or byproduct still remains in the final product. No point to over thinking fictional tv show, i was just wondering maybe this blue meth is based on reality

Conceivably, you can dye the product somewhere in the manufacturing stage... of course it would be slightly impurer, but the branding it gives the meth is their selling point.

The ice could be clear as glass, but colored glass.

Although any rival manufacturers could also stain their kit... Dunno, it's TV.

I am starting to feel like i'm watching a rerun of season 2.

hahaha yeh I thought it was maybe a fake because obviously it wasn't a wrong episode being that the previously on BB shit at the beginning was definitely up to date fresh.

uber gay review of the s03e05 on ign, its scored a 9.9 lol seriously read the review its says a lot of rediculously unprofessional excitedly gay stuff, purty funny

they were soo close to being fucked tonight, this season seemed like it wasn't going anywhere but i think they were just setting up the pieces for an amazing ending. funny to watch two comedians like Bryan Cranston and Bob Odenkirk doing drama, but Bob's funny even when he's not trying to be.

fucking great episode, wooo weee this season is already in amazing territory if you ask me.

Anyone wanna take bets on if Hank gets murdered murdered by the not so mute twins? Now that his character has been elaborated more I don't hate Hank like I used to, if he gets axed I will be kind of revealed but I will indefinitely feel a little sorry for him.

Bob Odenkirk is the perfect fit for the hella sleazy goofy slime ball Saul. I cant imagine any actor playing that character better.
