It's interesting that the first time Walt did something flat out macho was right after they put him on the prednisone - cos that's exactly what prednisone does to you. Quite cool that they did that without the usual american tv on screen explanation. Quite probable he is still on prednisone after having half a lung cut out.

When was this? You mean when he beat up that kid in the clothing store who was making fun of Walt, Jr.?

Yeah it was fun while it lasted... *packs up things to leave thread* *sees the Pacific thread* *walks in and makes a spot*

Pretty weak episode, some hilarious moments, but overall a bit anti-climatic and drawn out... I'm pleased the cousins are dead, pretty lame scene with him crawling on the floor and shit.

Some of you are done with the show? Really? You don't even want to see how this season will end?

Surprising

if course i want/will, just that, meh :cerious:

i actually loved the last episode, it reminded me a lot of some of the better moments of the x-files, in fact the style in which it was done all the double crossing and ensnaring of the mexican drug cartel people reminded me of shit the smoking man used to do, Gus is obviously the new smoking man

I liked that Gus' big plan made his out of character behaviour recently seem totally in character in retrospect

now as to the reason for his big plan - he's taking the mexicans out of the picture because he likes everything to be orderly and controlled?

gus is back to being the ice cold guy who does whatever is needed to reduce risk and unpredictability, which makes him dangerous as fuck to a couple of flakes like walt and jesse

didnt like the massive plot fudge of jesse just happening to see hank arriving at the hospital, which in turn gets walt out of the lab where he otherwise would have stayed until the batch was done. the coincidences in this show are so  sometimes. the way everyone seems to know each other and run into each other all the time, you'd think that alberquerque new mexico was a town with like 50 people in it

Show's still good. I usually keep out of these threads cos I am a week or 2 behind. It's not amazing anymore, but considering where things have been, its's still quite interesting enough, could get by on casting alone imo. If I were writing it I would probably throw Walt and Jesse in jail and then fastforward til they got out, that would open up a few interesting possibilities, and get a bit gritty again. No one would see that shit coming :shuriken:

So far I'm enjoying Season 3 more than I did Season 1 and definitely more than the second half of Season 2. Good to have that whole plane crash mess officially out of the picture. Scene with Hank/twins in "One Minute" was genius, and I loved how both "One Minute" and "I See You" ended with the sound of something looping and a wounded Hank (the car alarm, beeping monitor) - nice touch.

when is walt going to start to smoke some weed to cure is cancer??? :emotawesomepm9:

i'd love to see walt stoned

I started watching Breaking Bad season 1 again and I just noticed that it had a lot more mature content in the first season than it does now... There was even a "mature content" warning at the beginning.

acid + dead body in the bathtub, actually showing a lot of drug use on screen walt smoking weed jesse smoking tons of meth.

most of the mature cache in this season has been used up on the silent twins death scene and danny trejo's head being chopped off
