The Overlooks opinion's have been confirmed by the pentagon to be increasingly bitchy and negative for the sake of continuing his whine binge.

Baph however can be trusted as a handle of rationality with six pack of quit your fucking crying.

If they wanted to get Jesse out dealing again, why not just NOT have Walt bring him into Gus' ooperation and have Walt and Jesse running rival labs - hi tech vs street?

Be lots of cool possibilities, and they'd have saved themselves TWO reall yimplausible plot devlopments (Gus accepting Jesse and Jesse going out dealing even though he's clean and a milionaire and a coward)

The more I think about that fly episode the more nervous I get about where the show is going.

First up there's Walt's speech where he methodically pinpoints the "best" time for him to have died. It's in series two of course - almost like the writers are acknowledging that the story has gone on too long.

Then later he goes on an on about what an AMAZING coincidence his meeting Jane's Dad was. OK, so you're acknowledging the coincidence thing too? Damn near breaking the 4th wall? How long before Walt notices the other amazing coincidences? Starts to see a pattern? Then what?

Please please please don't turn this into yet another IT WERE GOD WHUT DUN IT show

Amen.

It's become Lost in many regards, and the slavish devotion from people (it's incredible how loyal stupid people are) in this thread proves that.

I don't hate the show. I just think it's not nearly as good as it used to be. Instead of being open to critique, idiots whine about it as if they're one of the writers. I envy the positive readings of season 3. I just don't share them.

To all the Breaking Bad dicklickers / apologists:

Are your affinities for this show so fragile that a bit of honest criticism makes your tiny dicks shrivel? :sorcerer:

lol

I don't even think Breaking Bad is the best show on television, which is currently mostly an abject wasteland; I just don't think it's devolved into total shit yet, and I don't think the character's motivations/actions are becoming internally inconsistent. The characters are acting like fucked up humans do. Whether you want to roll with the string of coincidences in the plot itself is another matter. As I said, the writers are explicitly pointing it out now, so at the very least I imagine they intend to scrutinize it within the show itself. It could be shit. I dunno.

A comparison to Lost is just ridiculous, though; Lost could barely reconcile the start of one episode with the end of the same episode.

my only gripe with s3 is that it isn't building up to anything. there's no driving plot other than walter getting better and more organised at his life of crime. the cartel are out of the storyline, the DEA aren't currently suspicious of him or his boss and there's nothing else looming. he's working and earning big money for it - that to me sounds more like a conclusion rather than something worthy of an ongoing plot. that said, the show is still awesome, and i still look forward to it each week.

4) He's not trying to look all hard, he was just angry at the bad deal and being ripped off by a kid.

Hold on, I think you missed something.

That is not why he is angry.

Why then ? Because the kid is the girl's brother ?

Tonight's episode was awesome.

I mean blah blah some bullshit namedropping Robert Rodriguez and complaining about the shot from inside the meth tank.

I was thinking the complaint would be the timing of the ending, another one of those coincidences that remind people that they aren't actually watching a documentary where the events are filmed in real time. but I was willing to let it slide.

What a way to end the episode!

loved last night's episode, can't believe I have to wait a week for the season finale.

THATS HOW U NO U GOD WHEN YOU GOTA MODEL AND SHE THROW UP ON YO DICK BECAUSE ITS SO BIG AND YOUR IN A LIMO GOING TO A LIL B CONCERT - Lil B

everyone who watches this show knows how big of a moron that jesse is, but i think the last episode just proves that he's not moronic, just actually mentally retarded. didn't want bad things to happen to him, but i'm getting to the point where i'm tired of hearing/seeing his bullshit

my take on this ep:

Hank is annoying now (good handjob scene though)

Jesse is beyond suicidal

Skyler is becoming less believable

Walt will once again screw up a plush situation

big WTF - why hasn't Walt told Jesse they will make $15 million for 1 year? i would think he would tone down his antics if that carrot was dangled in front of him yo.
