So... Mexico vs. France: I say Mexico.

But, the biggie is tomorrow: ENG vs USA!

I say England, but if USA manages to pull it off...

The first half of those world cup highlights - they span from 1984-1994

these files have been split, so you will need to concatenate them.

for OS X you can use Split&Concat which can be found here: http://www.brothersoft.com/split--concat-241811.html

for windows it looks like ConcaDec should work...: http://www.bestfreewaredownload.com/freeware/k-concatenate-t-free-concadec-freeware-wejjrmve.html

I'll put up 98-06 soon...

Thanks! :ok:

Oh fuck yes. <3 <3 <3

the other highlights are up.

That goal by South Africa was a brilliant opening goal. Top quality, the passing was exquisite, and the finish was very level headed. Mexico should have put it away in the first half though, Franco had 2 unchallenged headers, and mexico dominated. Well, I was wrong about this match (i thought Mexico would win 2-0) so I'll have to see about France-Uruguay (who are my two picks to make it out of the group).

yes I'm behind on the viewing, stupid education getting in the way.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

Dear Zeus ,

Because of your National Team dull performance at the Euro 2004 tournament , they will never win a game again ,

in fact , I'll make your team the laughing stock of the tournament.

You are rubbish , that is what I'm saying.

Sincerely ,

Here goes another 90 mins that i'll never get back.

yeah, all these first games have been piss poor, which is expectable as nobody wants to lose their first game. I'm hoping for more spectacular things tonight.

South Africa v Mexico was ok for a 1-1

I enjoyed that game. I was starting to worry that the ball might ruin the whole thing, every shoot seemed to ballon. But Argentina at least showed that it doesnt stop you shooting with power. Theyre going to give someone a complete slapping.

really???

for how unspeakably slow and poor nigeria played, argentina did a pretty great job of playing to their level, esp. near the end of the game. When considering the strike talent with tevez, messi, higuain, and milito that game should not have been 1-0. argentina's pace (whatever they had originally) completely vanished after 60 minutes and their passing game went with it too. A well organized team like the korean one we saw today could give them fits, and a well organized team with talented players like a germany or perhaps even the dutch would decimate the side I saw play relitively miserably today. they just looked alright because nigeria showed up with just a goalie.

Eh, Argentina were a bit lucky to survive with all three points, but without the Nigerian goalkeeper, it could easily have been 5-0. Then again, Martins cannon of a left foot almost drew Nigeria level, which would have been utterly lol.

It's hard to know how to feel about Argentina after that match. They don't look bad though, that's for sure.

was i the only one bored watching the nigeria v argentina match? i watched the last 20 minutes of the first half and about 10 minutes of the second half. jesus christ...

Watching Argentina's training grounds passing routines was really annoying, yes. Then again, it was up to Nigeria to put a stop to that and they seemed rather content to lose 1-0.

Edited by The Overlook

argentina played awful, i lost track of how many times they lost the ball due to bad passes or bad control. nigeria did alright, both teams got lucky several times. argentina is a mess, there seems to be no game plan whatsoever. unless messi pulls the team with him there's no future for them on this cup.

ZOMG! Lazerz pew pew pew!!!!11!!1!!!!1!oneone!shift+one!~!!!
