I don't think it's a coincidence but guess what? Durban is at sea level, so I wouldn't jump to any conclusions about the Germans until they head to Ellis Park, Soccer City, etc.

I don't think the Maicon goal was intentional, I think he was trying to stab it along the ground, but it went straight in. Still, whether or not it was intentional, it was still sensational skill cos he purposely toe-poked it rather than try and curl it.
