dirty protest how come you have slovenia's footbal association in your avatar?

Slovenia killed the chances of my home team Northern Ireland qualifying, I hope England win (hopes about right), but I spend quite a lot of time near Slovenska Konjica and really enjoy travelling round the country, Bohinj is about one of the most beautiful places ive ever been to, so i hope they do well. So far so good =)

Poor showing. Anything of value to come from Italy will be a gift of the opposition (like the equalizer) because this is not a very good side.

Cannavaro looked very old, very slow, and appeared to have little or no form. Pirlo's replacement was just  even though he did have Italy's best looking strike from distance. That's not saying much at all though...

Neither team deserved more than a point, but it would have been great to see Paraguay do something positive in the second half. Then again, they had a one goal advantage on the holders Italy, so being a bit cynical is understandable. A point for Paraguay, barring disaster, SHOULD guarantee they get out of the group.

all todays teams looked slightly bland. holland did indeed worry me for large parts of their game. japan and cameroon, who cares they're both going home after the group stages. itlay looked slow until the second half and paraguay had nothing to offer really.

still brazil tomorrow so fingers crossed for some fitbaw entertainment.

Mirezzi - you call loads of the players fat, what's up?

I was totally ready to come in with a big fucking "hah hah" and then paraguay had to go and fuck things up. Was santa cruz injured? Or were they just saving him? Either way, what a disappointing day of football, although Denmark were pleasant enough to watch.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.
