I mean I am just making the most logical guess about where he will put it. For all I know he could make a giant ass cobble rectangle box in the sky for the mobs to spawn in.

Yea, to an extent. People can put up little shops anywhere practical. A big ugly cobble structure, on the other hand, needs a specific location.

If the ugly cobble structure was made to look pretty, that'd be fine. Just like in a real city :D

ok, i tore down the start of the mob farm. it was a bad idea and i shouldn't minecraft when drunk. or at least decide to make a new building.

edit: i flattened the crappy area near the station, there's room for 3 small buildings or a big one and a small one there.

I like minecrafting drunk. I come back online later and wonder where the hell I am.

today i've been shoveling gravel for the back yard garden. at first i thought this really sucks but then i had the epiphony, i am minecrafting. i totally look at it slightly differently now although i have a few fusses. a) gravel should be more difficult to dig than dirt b) there should be a max weight carriage because there's no way you're gonna be walking around with all that shit on your person irl c) dirt and gravel should be even more difficult to dig when it's wet, ie. when it is raining and d) it is less about how good your shovel is and more about how good you shovel.

now that i've written that down i realize there is something wrong with my logic thinking. check it:

a) gravel and dirt should be as easy to dig as it is in minecraft b) all physical phenomena should be weightless so we can do all things with relative physical ease c) as said in b) all physical phenomena should be weightless, regardless of them being wet or not and d) it shouldn't matter how physically fit you are. all that should matter is how good your shovel is.

someone on reddit did a back-of-the-napkin calculation, and based on the amount of stuff you can carry, your pockets are denser than the core of the sun.

i've finished my gravel work. i think it would be nice to have wheelbarrows in mc...

one of the reasons i believe there are no wheelbarrows currently in mc is that the creator probably hasn't done any manual labor in his life and doesn't see the great benefit behind the wheelbarrow, which is somewhat funny (somewhat frustrating), because the game is all about digging some shit and transporting that shit to a different location which is what a wheelbarrow is for.

It'll never happen but I'd like a portal chest. Place your B chest, dump stuff in it, it all shows up back at the A chest in your house and vice versa. And one of those drilling machines from Total Recall. Hey Max! Screwwww yooooooouuu!

sorry my lord but come on. he spawned all these ideas because he was too lazy to dig some gravel . its like WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM how do you get your materials? you need to dig gravel to find arrow heads you fricken dingus. or what are you one of those cheaters i keep hearin about. splouah.

i've just watched 16 episodes of yogscasts "shadow of israphel" in a row, that's like 4 hours of minecraft silliness. fuck. pretty damn impressive though!
