good luck with that

thinking about making a plaza at the main junction in the nether, people have preferences for what material I should use?

Smooth stone and smooth stone slabs (stack 2 high) alternating in a checkerboard pattern looks very plaza-y. That's what we used on the old map for the main plaza.

For the floor, not the whole thing. I think a natural material would be nice for the walls (dirt or something. And a light blue for the ceiling. Brighten up the place. Make it seem less like the nether.

We're working on it now. Not really 100% on what the walls or ceiling will be. but the floor is smooth stone/stone slabs arranged checkerboard style with 2x2 squares. And it has stone brick pillars. We've got mossy stones to use too, and vines.

Oo, actually, make a really high ceiling, and then make the entrances/exits into/out of it 1x2. Walking into it would be overwhelmingly cool, I would think.

Yea the drawwrowdelf from lotr kinda gave me the ideas for it, not really sure how tall it will be yet but theres an open cavern above the area

im thinking anybody that has a nether portal just connect to the hallway with a small door like that

im having a horrific 0-5 fps experience at my place. Not a clue why. Its fucking torture

every time you connect it lags the shit out of us and has crashed the server twice. Want me to see if anything is up at your place?

kokoon something weird happened in the nether. Long story short the powered rail at the start of your track is gone. I can't log back on just yet but feel free to pinch my powered rail (near murveton portal)

I guess you'll see the plaza on the way : )
