thats cool i just want an efficiency shovel because im about to make something crazy epic with sandstone and being able to dig sand as fast as I can sprint might make that easier lol

so whats the point of leveling up??? do you get to put points into things like MINING or RUNNING or stuff cool like that? it sounds like thats way too obvious and awesome for notch to even consider putting in

you can spend levels on enchants which do let you do cool things with your items.

like resist damage better, dig faster or light mobs on fire when you sword them

and also alchemy . 2 of the biggest things in skyrim

anyways now thats over, i have to say that i respect the fact that notch made minecraft but he is not the person to finish it. true fate wants minecraft in the hands of other people because there are many people who play the game and get awesome ideas for it but notch isnt one of htem he gets stupid ideas that are based around the fact that hes lazy. he will make new mobs and creatures just because theyre really easy to do and he doesnt want to hire an artist so he just takes cows and paints them red and puts mushrooms on them.

notch is a programer not an artist and heneeds a team to finish minecraft properly and hes not gonna get one so thats the end of that

there's a portal but no established path to it in the nether yet, easiest way is to take a portal to koko's sphere and travel from there to 5600/1800, or alternatively portal to the nether fortress, go back irl, and head towards it in the other direction.

Enchanting and Alchemy isn't his own either. While I can't say Bethesda owns the original idea as well, they most certainly used it and made what it is today from back in the 90s when they had their first Elder Scrolls game.

but what else is in there.. well he finally fixed it so mac users can play (ollder mac users) i had 2 friends on my server who couldnt play JUST BECAUSE of that for like what 2 months

i could say that bethesda copied it from the bard's tale and the early might and magic games

i could equally argue he ripped off jumping from manic miner

and railcarts from rollercoaster tycoon

and buttons or the point and click interface from xerox circa 1975
